Victory in Budget Negotiations

Thanks to all of your efforts in speaking out at the City Council budget hearings and your e-mails and faxes, the City heard us! 

• Library hours were restored
• The City Attorney employees in Local 3090 will not have their jobs cut
• The part-time employees in Rec & Parks had their hours restored
• Executive Administrative Assistant layoffs avoided
• The Council is considering the Coalition for L.A. City Union’s early retirement proposal to avoid future budget crises and has directed the City Administrative Officer to report back in 30 days on the impact.
