Business Writing Training for MOU 3 Employees

Topics to be covered in the class include:

Avoiding common grammatical and spelling errors
Proper use of the parts of speech
Importance of proofreading and editing your work
Writing succinct, powerful sentences
Removing jargon, slang and redundancies from your writing
Rules of capitalization

Classes will be held three separate times:

Oct. 7 & 14,
Nov. 17 & 24
Dec. 11 & 18

Thirty people max will be allowed to enroll in each class. Classes will be held at the Personnel Department Building, 700 E. Temple St., Rm. 115B, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm Contact your Department Training Coordinator to be nominated for one of the sets of classes.
