AFSCME 3090

Hundreds of AFSCME 3090 members and their families turned out Saturday, Sept. 6 for the Local’s first annual family picnic at Griffith Park’s Crystal Springs area.

Under a gorgeous blue sky, members ate delicious barbeque, caught up with old friends and met new ones, and participated in fun games with the kids – and sometimes without! Sack races, a bounce house, face painting and a magic show with live scorpions and rabbits entertained everyone.

But the theme was definitely union. Prizes were awarded to those who could answer the union trivia questions. A fun time was had by all. Next year, we’ll be back, bigger and better than ever. Stay tuned.
