Hundreds of AFSCME 3090 members turned out Saturday,
May 1, 2004 to celebrate 25 years of progress
for city employees. Mayor James Hahn offered
a proclamation from the city to
the union on its anniversary.
The gala dinner took place at the
Manhattan Beach Marriott, and featured awards for
many people who have played an important role in
the union's history:
Carol Wheeler, Jeanetta Adams, Luci Torres, Gloira
Larrigan, Betty Ballard, Vernon Watkins, William
Lucy, Cheryl Parisi, Annette Williams, Pauline
Powell and Tabetha Pulley
